Winery “Villa Matilde” (Cellole)

Energy Audit – Preliminary, definitive and executive project of all electrical and air conditioning systems of the company winery “Villa Matilde”.

The Villa Matilde plant, having decided to double the productivity of wines and therefore storage, entrusted us with the energy studio to minimize the costs of first refurbishment and subsequent management and maintenance, with the input to look for the best renewable energy sources for self-production of the necessary energy.
First, we collected data on energy consumption, consumption distribution, and determined the company’s energy balance. Losses and outward losses were assessed and structurally taken place to limit them. The machinery and its operation, the air conditioning system, the lighting system, etc. have been optimised.
A load control and management system was then implemented to minimise consumption. Through these measures, the increase in energy requirements, compared with a doubling of wine production, was only 30%. Finally, the total energy needs were met through a photovoltaic system and a rapeseed oil generator. The end result was to have not only a great economic savings for the company but, at the same time, a fully autonomous company energy and without CO2 emissions in the environment.
